UPDATE 02/06/2021:
We hope you are all staying safe, and still haven't completely mastered all of our video library just yet!!
We have been restarting a little modest private lesson teaching which has been a real joy. Given the proximity to summer we will restart all group lessons, and a full programme of activity in September. The first class will be on Monday 6th September '21 and we cannot wait!'
Touch wood everything continues to go in the right direction, bar a few minor bumps here and there.
See you in September where we will all be back in beginners together!

We have been reflecting on the current situation, continued rise in cases, and proximity to Christmas in the context of our classes. We have decided not to reopen (if it is even allowed) in December but to aim for a fresh start in January. We are slightly conscious with the likelihood of very limited social contact at Christmas, we felt we wanted the small amount of mixing that may be permitted to be spent on loved ones as far as possible, rather than hitting the dance floor with us!
We hope you are not too disappointed and understand our reasoning; we would dearly love to get back to teaching when the time is right.
See you in January or on Youtube!!

Thank you to all those who passed good wishes to us. We are somewhat relieved to say the test came back negative, and Joanna is recovering already.
Whilst it was extremely frustrating not be able to have our last classes this week, we took comfort in ensuring we did the right things at the right time.
We hope you will find some November fun in the huge library of online classes we now have on Youtube.
See you in December!!
ARCHIVED 31/10/2020:
As you are probably aware from Thursday 5th November our dance activities will stop during the 4-week stay at home (with caveats) order. This coming week we would have continued with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday classes prior to the break.
However, we have a double whammy because our wonderful Joanna has just this evening come down with a high fever spike, feeling a bit out of sorts yesterday and today. With the fever spike as one of the main symptoms of covid-19, we will therefore be arranging a test and we will all be self-isolating in the mean time too.
In the light of that, we have no option but to cancel this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's classes, in addition to the following four weeks.
We will keep you all updated, and in particular will let you know the outcome of Joanna's test result when it arrives.
We are disappointed not to be able see everyone for one more class before Thursday but hope you will find some fun in the huge library of online classes we now have on Youtube.
See you in December!!
ARCHIVE:
Today 9th September 2020 the government brought in new legislation and guidelines to counter the continued threat of increased infection rates of COVID-19. Briefly this is known as the rule of 6.
That legislation and guideline has now been published more fully online and we are pleased to say that dance classes, fitness and exercise classes like ours, operated in a COVID-19 safe way, are exempt from this, therefore our classes will continue next week and beyond, minding for any additional relevant updates.
For those interested in the clarifications, the full details are laid out here under section 2.10 regarding exemptions, where classes such as ours operated in a covid safe way, are listed.
We do anticipate that the road ahead will be bumpy and it is our intention to not only follow to the letter all of the latest guidance as it evolves, but sometimes go beyond the requirements set if we see fit in order to look after everyone as best as possible. We have been so very impressed with everyone's committment with social distancing and own considerations coming into the classes this week that we feel increasingly confident of operating to a high standard going forward.
Thank you to everyone and we look forward to keeping you dancing
